Happy holidays!
Zac here. We’ve wrapped up the convention season, all the Kickstarter stuff is at the warehouse or nearly so, and you’d think we’d be settling in for a cozy, quiet end-of-year.
Unlikely.
We’ve got a lot we want to do in 2026, but I’ll save a bunch of that for next month’s update. Instead, I’d love to show you some of our year-end projects, starting with the new booth!
It took Quartermaster Tyler a couple of months to construct the backdrop shelving, railing, mast, and other items from the ground up, then another week for Captain Limithron to program and rig the lighting, turning the whole thing into an absolute spectacle.
Everything premiered at our last con of the year: PAX Unplugged!
Around 30 crew members, including a few dozen excellent Harbourmasters came together, lending their strong backs, ragged voices, and absolute talent to ensure this show was one of the best of the year. We couldn’t have asked for a better team.
We’re gearing up for another year filled with conventions! Here’s the first few:

Patreon FREE Release: Jail/Prison
We’re doing our best to put together an exhaustive list of every pirate-themed battle map you could possibly need over on Patreon. This month’s free map is the prison, which, if your players are anything like mine, you’ll see plenty of use for at the table.
Add that to the 100+ maps that are already over there free for the taking.
If you're a paid subscriber of the Patreon, there are another dozen variations to this map, plus around 40 assets to scatter around the space. Tyler's also got the Foundry version ready to go:
Pre-Orders Closing!
We’ve reopened the pre-order shop, but just for a few weeks. By the end of the year, everything will be locked down as we prepare for fulfillment.
If you miss the window, you’ll be able to grab stuff from the webstore early in 2026.
Kickstarter Progress
There’s a full update over on Kickstarter, but here’s the rundown:
All digital content is fulfilled except for new VTT items.
Estimated Shipping Date: Mid-to-Late January!
Locking addresses on Backerkit within the week.
Charging for shipping on Backerkit in a week or so.
We’re freakin’ excited to be getting to the end of the line with this project. It’s been a big one!
If you can't find your survey when you login in, here are some things to try:

Check your login, some folks end up with two different Backerkit email profiles, or
