Weigh anchor, hoist the sails, and raise the black: September 19th is International Talk Like A Pirate Day, and the official retail release of PIRATE BORG! Limithron and Free League Publishing are excited to announce an inaugural, worldwide, coordinated retail event where you can pick up free content and swag, purchase the book and add-on releases, and play Pirate Borg with other filthy, foul mouthed, grog-swilling pirates like yourself at your favorite friendly local game store.

FOR GAMERS

Talk Like A Pirate Day is your chance to support your friendly local game store by picking up a copy of the core Pirate Borg book, playing in-store with friends, and grabbing some free swag like stickers, patches, and free zines like Dark Tides and The Battle of Dead Man’s Cove. We are also releasing three new adventures: Buried in the Bahamas, The Battle of Dead Man’s Cove, and The Sinking of C’thagn, all of which will be available from participating retailers. FOR RETAILERS

Talk Like A Pirate Day is a great way to host a memorable in-store event, draw attention to a new product line, and build your community. FOR HARBOURMASTERS

Are you interested in running Pirate Borg games, recruiting a crew of scurvy sea dogs, and earning exclusive swag in the process? GMs can earn rewards by running games that are either open to the public (in person or online) or publicly viewable (i.e. Twitch, YouTube, actual play podcasts, in-person events, etc.). After you’ve signed up, you’ll just need to submit your event to our event calendar. We are still working out the details and game requirements, but expect things like stickers, patches, shirts, d2 pieces of eight, jolly roger flags, etc. 

FOR CONTENT CREATORS

Dress up like a pirate, add a new game to your repertoire, and earn swag in the process. Content creators that run publicly broadcast games are also eligible to earn swag.
